help i just used brown wax on my leather nudes

Help!!! I just used brown wax on my leather Timberland boots, and the color changed completely to a darker one. Did I just destroyed my boots, or is there ANY way to restore them(at least to a point)? Was told by the salesperson at a local Timberland's Previous Next
