My ear produces a normal amount of wax, however when I pulled out my ear plugs from work I could suddenly hear better. No clue how long I couldn’t hear like this
TL;DR - a formerly benign cyst went haywire when my immune system ramped up to fight covid. Had it lanced, then I was allergic to the antibacterial infused bandaids I bought to cover it. I'm in hell.

Ear Hole Update! it's been a few months, and all they've confirmed is that it IS a cholesteatoma...and a big one at that. Waiting for a pre-surgery consultation, but today a piece literally broke off in my ear causing quite a bit of bleeding and pain ð
